"Why Should I Attend? I know nothing about the political process."

 --    The more members who attend, the more legislators and staffers we can reach out and touch;

    --    The more members who attend, the more impressive we are as an organizaiton;

    --    The more members who attend, the more people with whom we can share our vision of value-added service;

The folks elected to and working in the General Assembly must never be allowed to forget our value, least they do forget and we wake up one day to find ourselves no longer able to provide the unique services we provide so well.

Parking is sometimes difficult, but Sands Anderson can validate your parking in the lot directly behind the building at Eighth and Cary St.

Before coming to Richmond, if you’d like to personally meet with your Senator or Delegate please call and make an appt. for the morning between 9:30 and 12:00. (Please find out who your reps are before coming!)   In addition to your own delegate and Senator, we will be making calls to all those on the House and Senate Commerce and Labor committees which usually deal with insurance bills.

Lunch will be on your own on the Hill.  The easiest is the cafeteria in the building where all the offices are located.

If you want to stay for the sessions, they will begin at noon.

Look forward to seeing everyone in Richmond…..

If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call.  My cellphone is 757-675-6900 (John Hinck, VAHU Leg Chair).
