    Position Summary

    Sell individual health insurance products by following up on leads generated by the county offices and advertisements. Additionally, this position is responsible for training county office staff on all health insurance products.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Generate sales for all individual health insurance products by following up on all leads.
    • Ensure MSS & CAA are knowledgeable in all health insurance products through the creation and presentation of effective training classes each quarter.
    • Handle PHC sales for counties with unlicensed personnel or for counties when licensed personnel are out of the office.
    • Serve as a contact and information source for internal/external customers and prospects concerning PHC issues.
    • Coordinate marketing leads with county offices.
    • Resolve PHC checklist issues on a daily basis.

    Competencies
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Life & Health license
    • Previous training experience
    • Excellent communication skills (good phone communication)
    • Proven persuasive speaking skills
    • Knowledge of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield personal healthcare insurance
    • Knowledge of Medicare Supplemental Insurance
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Proven customer focus
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
