nahu color logo.gifThe National Association of Health Underwriters represents more than 20,000 licensed health insurance agents, brokers, consultants and benefit professionals through more than 200 chapters across America. NAHU members service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as people seeking individual health insurance coverage. Every day, NAHU members work to obtain insurance for clients who are struggling to balance their desire to purchase high-quality and comprehensive health coverage with the reality of rapidly escalating medical care costs. As such, one of NAHU's primary goals is to do everything we can to promote access to affordable health insurance coverage.http://www.nahu.org/

The Virginia Health Care Foundation is one of the key elements of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s strategy to buttress local primary care delivery systems and strengthen the health safety net.

VHCF was initiated in 1992 by the Virginia General Assembly and its Joint Commission on Health Care to promote and fund innovative public-private partnerships that increase access to primary care for Virginia's uninsured and medically underserved.

As a public/private partnership, VHCF combines the flexibility and nimble nature of the private sector with the resources and institutional wherewithal of the public sector. Operating with an entrepreneurial spirit, VHCF works on multiple fronts to increase access to care for Virginia’s uninsured and medically underserved.  http://www.vhcf.org/
